How to save address to Favorites in Waze app

If you need quick access to any address on the map, use Add to favorites. You will be able to use it via the Waze navigation system.

There are 3 ways to add locations to Favorites (or Saved Places): using Waze History, via the search box or Favorites section. We will talk about these methods below.

What are Waze Favorites

In general Waze regularly saves routes and addresses in its History section to use it later. You can even do this in offline mode. But using the Favorites feature is even more convenient. Tapping on a bookmark while driving will take you to the desired address or route.

To add to Favorites, there is a special icon with an asterisk. By tapping on the asterisk you will save the address at any time.

In addition, you can go to the history by tapping on the desired address. You can save it via the asterisk. In any case, after tapping on the Add to Favorites button, you have to assign a name to the new item in order to find it later.

Saving any address to Favorites in Waze via Search

1. Open Waze (you need latest version).

2. Find the search button at the bottom of the screen and tap on the Where to?

3. Type your destination address in the Where to? text box
4. Enter the address on the map or choose from the displayed results.

5. The next screen displays detailed information about the location you are looking for.

6. To add to Waze Favorites, tap the star next to the selected address (Save place).
7. Confirm the action by tapping on Done.

8. Navigate to Saved places to access Favorites.

Using Favorites to save an address in bookmarks

1. Launch the Waze mobile app.

2. Open the main menu of the app.
3. Go to Saved places by tapping the button.

4. Tap the Add a place button.

5. Enter a name for the location to add to the bookmark list (Give it a name).

6. After entering the name, save the result (a Done button).

Using History to Save Favorites

1. Open search bar
2. Tap on the Where to? text box.

3. Select History from the menu that appears.

4. Use the three-dotted line to select the desired location.
5. Tap the Add a place button.

6. Enter the name of the selected location to add to your Favorites.
7. Save the result by tapping Done.
